New Era 147. Jesus will save us from the Fall, the Apostasy, and the judgment. God reconcile the world with Himself by the fact that Christ died in the city for us, when we seek fellowship with Him on that basis our relationship with Him restored. He calls on the fallen, to heal their fall, and so will heal the fallout in Judaism and the church. 14. The story of creation and the construction of knowledge as educational theory. 6. Evolution and the Day of Judgment.

Picture: Tyrannosaurus.

Judgment Day refers to the judgment after the fall, but then it is both a long process, by the battle between the serpent’s tribe and the woman’s tribe and then it will end in a catastrophe in comparison to the astroid impact that exterminated the dinosaurs. But Jesus will save many from this judgment day, in that he is with us all the days, until the end of the world. This is the female race that overcomes the serpent’s race.

Evolution and Judgment Day.

Evolutionary theory compared with creation. The fall and judgment, history that repeats itself.

According to evolution, life is a struggle for existence, so it is, even if the individual lives in peace and quiet, because it is a question of who fits best into the natural environment. But sometimes it is evident in a struggle for life and death, first and foremost because the predators feed on prey and then because a male animal marks his territory and defends it, both to secure food and to gather his harem. With the survival of the most well-suited one, the species will likely evolve to be more advanced and more viable. But this is not always the case, because there can be natural disasters that wipe out the whole tribe which was so well adapted to this environment, because the natural environment has changed.

The dinosaurs, for example, were exterminated by an astroid impact 62-65 million years ago. Sauritschia (from “lizard pelvis”) were the dinosaurs that could put their feet right under them and lift their belly off the ground. They were exterminated. It seems that the judgment after the fall refers to this, in that God put a war between the serpent and the woman and condemned the worm to crawl on its belly. The other type was Ornitschia (from “bird pelvis”). Present reptiles descended from these. They meant that the birds did too, hence the word “ornithology”, but since then they have apparently found out that the birds descended from sauritschia.

The Day of Judgment refers to the judgment after the fall, but then it is both a long  process, by the battle between the serpent and the woman and then it will end with a catastrophe in comparison to this astroid impact. But Jesus will save many from this judgment day, in that he is with us all the days, until the end of the world. This is the female race that overcomes the serpent race.

In the Old Testament it is told of many kingdoms that arose, clearly in that people gathered around their gods, so the religion held them together and so the king got people with him in war and then they warred against others. Elce they did not get help from their gods. It was just to get much people with him and make them well-trained and best equipped in the war, for his army to be the largest and strongest. Of course it was also important that the king and the commanders of the army were skilled.

Many kingdoms perished and it was explained as God’s punishment because they worshipped idols and became proud by trying to make themselves like God. Yet God claimed that it was He who did it all, so it was as if the creation, the fall and judgment were history repeating itself.

The God of Israel was the true and living God, and he helped them in the battle, but then there was internal discord, an opposition between faith and doubt, and there was a battle of the spirit.

The people of Israel came into bondage in Egypt and God sent Moses to deliver them from bondage to the idols of Egypt and to lead them to the promised land, where they would be his people and he would be their God. On the way there was internal discord, a contradiction between faith and doubt. When they came to the border of the land of Kana’an, God told Moses to send twelve spies into the land, one of them from each tribe. When they came back, they reported that those who lived there were great and strong, so that the people was discouraged, only two of them, Joshua and Caleb, tried to encourage them that God would help them in the war, so that they would be able to conquer the land as well. But the people did not believe in him and rebelled, so they did not come into the land that God had promised them, they had to wait until a new generation came. But Joshua and Caleb believed in him and then we learn that there was another spirit in them. They were allowed to enter the land after the 40 years and then it was Joshua who took over as leader after Moses.

Numb.14: 26 And the Lord spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

27 “How long shall this wicked congregation grumble against me? I have heard the grumblings of the people of Israel, which they grumble against me.

28 Say to them, ‘As I live, declares the Lord, what you have said in my hearing I will do to you:

29 your dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness, and of all your number, listed in the census from twenty years old and upward, who have grumbled against me,

30 not one shall come into the land where I swore that I would make you dwell, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun.

31 But your little ones, who you said would become a prey, I will bring in, and they shall know the land that you have rejected.

32 But as for you, your dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness.

33 And your children shall be shepherds in the wilderness forty years and shall suffer for your faithlessness, until the last of your dead bodies lies in the wilderness.

34 According to the number of the days in which you spied out the land, forty days, a year for each day, you shall bear your iniquity forty years, and you shall know my displeasure. ’

35 I, the Lord, have spoken. Surely this will I do to all this wicked congregation who are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall come to a full end, and there they shall die. ”

36 And the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land, who returned and made all the congregation grumble against him by bringing up a bad report about the land—

37 the men who brought up a bad report of the land— died by plague before the Lord.

38 Of those men who went to spy out the land, only Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh remained alive.

The angel of the Lord led them and drove out the people, but since they did not destroy them all at once, he would not drive out the rest of them. So even if the angel did his work, it was still some work that was left for them to do, but then they did not finish it.

Judges.2:1 Now the angel of the Lord went up from Gilgal to Bochim. And he said, “I brought you up from Egypt and brought you into the land that I swore to give to your fathers. I said, ‘I will never break my covenant with you,

2 and you shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land; you shall break down their altars. ’ But you have not obeyed my voice. What is this you have done?

3 So now I say, I will not drive them out before you, but they shall become thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare to you. ”

4 As soon as the angel of the Lord spoke these words to all the people of Israel, the people lifted up their voices and wept.

5 And they called the name of that place Bochim. And they sacrificed there to the Lord.

They had only priestly servioces in the tent of meeting that gathered them, no king and no army. Other peoples came into the land and displaced them. God claimed that it was because they had turned away from him, but when they repented and asked him for mercy and help, he raised up a “judge” who led them in the fight against the enemy, so they won and liberated themselves and their country. This happened again and again, but then they asked for a king, like the other peoples. Then Samuel was a judge and God told him that they the had rejected the Lord as king, so he would give them such a king as they wanted, a touch of democracy that is. It was Saul, in the beginning it worked well. God told him to go to war against the Amalekites and slaughter at his feet, as a revenge. He won the battle, but then he made up his mind that he should sacrifice some of the animals to the Lord. Nevertheless, he claimed to Samuel that he had done what was told to him. But obedience to God and His Word was more important than sacrifice, he had rejected God’s Word, even wanting to sacrifice to Him, therefore God rejected him as king.

1 Samuel 15: 13 And Samuel came to Saul, and Saul said to him, “Blessed be you to the Lord. I have performed the commandment of the Lord. ”

14 And Samuel said, “What then is this bleating of the sheep in my ears and the lowing of the oxen that I hear? ”

15 Saul said, “They have brought them from the Amalekites, for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen to sacrifice to the Lord your God, and the rest we have devoted to destruction. ”

16 Then Samuel said to Saul, “Stop! I will tell you what the Lord said to me this night. ” And he said to him, “Speak. ”

17 And Samuel said, “Though you are little in your own eyes, are you not the head of the tribes of Israel? The Lord anointed you king over Israel.

18 And the Lord sent you on a mission and said, ‘Go, devote to destruction the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are consumed. ’

19 Why then did you not obey the voice of the Lord? Why did you pounce on the spoil and do what was evil in the sight of the Lord? ”

20 And Saul said to Samuel, “I have obeyed the voice of the Lord. I have gone on the mission on which the Lord sent me. I have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and I have devoted the Amalekites to destruction.

21 But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the best of the things devoted to destruction, to sacrifice to the Lord your God in Gilgal. ”

22 And Samuel said, “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.

23 For rebellion is as the sin of divination, and presumption is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, he has also rejected you from being king. ”

24 Saul said to Samuel, “I have sinned, for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice.

25 Now therefore, please pardon my sin and return with me that I may bow before the Lord. ”

26 And Samuel said to Saul, “I will not return with you. For you have rejected the word of the Lord, and the Lord has rejected you from being king over Israel. ”

27 As Samuel turned to go away, Saul seized the skirt of his robe, and it tore.

28 And Samuel said to him, “The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you this day and has given it to a neighbor of yours, who is better than you.

29 And also the Glory of Israel will not lie or have regret, for he is not a man, that he should have regret. ”

30 Then he said, “I have sinned; yet honor me now before the elders of my people and before Israel, and return with me, that I may bow before the Lord your God. ”

31 So Samuel turned back after Saul, and Saul bowed before the Lord.

32 Then Samuel said, “Bring here to me Agag the king of the Amalekites. ” And Agag came to him cheerfully. Agag said, “Surely the bitterness of death is past. ”

33 And Samuel said, “As your sword has made women childless, so shall your mother be childless among women. ” And Samuel hacked Agag to pieces before the Lord in Gilgal.

34 Then Samuel went to Ramah, and Saul went up to his house in Gibeah of Saul.

35 And Samuel did not see Saul again until the day of his death, but Samuel grieved over Saul. And the Lord regretted that he had made Saul king over Israel.

God saw a man after his heart and let Samuel anoint David as king instead. Saul had his moments of gloom and they said that it was an evil spirit from God that came to him. Therefore, they got hold of David, so that he would play for him. God was with David in the battle and the people noticed it, and then Saul became jealous of him and was so furious that David fled. Then he had to take refuge in the Lord and the anointing was important to him, it symbolizes the Holy Spirit and it leaded him and saved him.

1 Samuel 16: 11 Then Samuel said to Jesse, “Are all your sons here? ” And he said, “There remains yet the youngest, but behold, he is keeping the sheep. ” And Samuel said to Jesse, “Send and get him, for we will not sit down till he comes here. ”

12 And he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy and had beautiful eyes and was handsome. And the Lord said, “Arise, anoint him, for this is he. ”

13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers. And the Spirit of the Lord rushed upon David from that day forward. And Samuel rose up and went to Ramah.

David in Saul’s Service

14 Now the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and a harmful spirit from the Lord tormented him.

15 And Saul’s servants said to him, “Behold now, a harmful spirit from God is tormenting you.

16 Let our lord now command your servants who are before you to seek out a man who is skillful in playing the lyre, and when the harmful spirit from God is upon you, he will play it, and you will be well. ”

17 So Saul said to his servants, “Provide for me a man who can play well and bring him to me. ”

18 One of the young men answered, “Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, who is skillful in playing, a man of valor, a man of war, prudent in speech, and a man of good presence, and the Lord is with him. ”

19 Therefore Saul sent messengers to Jesse and said, “Send me David your son, who is with the sheep. ”

20 And Jesse took a donkey laden with bread and a skin of wine and a young goat and sent them by David his son to Saul.

21 And David came to Saul and entered his service. And Saul loved him greatly, and he became his armor-bearer.

22 And Saul sent to Jesse, saying, “Let David remain in my service, for he has found favor in my sight. ”

23 And whenever the harmful spirit from God was upon Saul, David took the lyre and played it with his hand. So Saul was refreshed and was well, and the harmful spirit departed from him.

With David came a time of great glory for Israel, when he was old and his son Solomon was going to take over, God told David that he would be the father of Solomon. If he was obedient, if it would go well, if he was disobedient, he would be punished, but he would not take his grace away from him, as he did with Saul.

2 Samuel 7: 1 Now when the king lived in his house and the Lord had given him rest from all his surrounding enemies,

2 the king said to Nathan the prophet, “See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwells in a tent. ”

3 And Nathan said to the king, “Go, do all that is in your heart, for the Lord is with you. ”

4 But that same night the word of the Lord came to Nathan,

5 “Go and tell my servant David, ‘Thus says the Lord: Would you build me a house to dwell in?

6 I have not lived in a house since the day I brought up the people of Israel from Egypt to this day, but I have been moving about in a tent for my dwelling.

7 In all places where I have moved with all the people of Israel, did I speak a word with any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd my people Israel, saying, “Why have you not built me a house of cedar? ”’

8 Now, therefore, thus you shall say to my servant David, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, that you should be prince over my people Israel.

9 And I have been with you wherever you went and have cut off all your enemies from before you. And I will make for you a great name, like the name of the great ones of the earth.

10 And I will appoint a place for my people Israel and will plant them, so that they may dwell in their own place and be disturbed no more. And violent men shall afflict them no more, as formerly,

11 from the time that I appointed judges over my people Israel. And I will give you rest from all your enemies. Moreover, the Lord declares to you that the Lord will make you a house.

12 When your days are fulfilled and you lie down with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring after you, who shall come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom.

13 He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

14 I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son. When he commits iniquity, I will discipline him with the rod of men, with the stripes of the sons of men,

15 but my steadfast love will not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away from before you.

16 And your house and your kingdom shall be made sure forever before me. Your throne shall be established forever. ’”

17 In accordance with all these words, and in accordance with all this vision, Nathan spoke to David.

But Solomon married women from the nations with whom God had forbidden them to mingle, and in his old age they lured his heart away from the Lord.

1 Kings 11: 1 Now King Solomon loved many foreign women, along with the daughter of Pharaoh: Moabite, Ammonite, Edomite, Sidonian, and Hittite women,

2 from the nations concerning which the Lord had said to the people of Israel, “You shall not enter into marriage with them, neither shall they with you, for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods. ” Solomon clung to these in love.

3 He had 700 wives, who were princesses, and 300 concubines. And his wives turned away his heart.

4 For when Solomon was old his wives turned away his heart after other gods, and his heart was not wholly true to the Lord his God, as was the heart of David his father.

5 For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.

6 So Solomon did what was evil in the sight of the Lord and did not wholly follow the Lord, as David his father had done.

7 Then Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, and for Molech the abomination of the Ammonites, on the mountain east of Jerusalem.

8 And so he did for all his foreign wives, who made offerings and sacrificed to their gods.

The Lord Raises Adversaries

9 And the Lord was angry with Solomon, because his heart had turned away from the Lord, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice

10 and had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods. But he did not keep what the Lord commanded.

11 Therefore the Lord said to Solomon, “Since this has been your practice and you have not kept my covenant and my statutes that I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom from you and will give it to your servant.

12 Yet for the sake of David your father I will not do it in your days, but I will tear it out of the hand of your son.

13 However, I will not tear away all the kingdom, but I will give one tribe to your son, for the sake of David my servant and for the sake of Jerusalem that I have chosen. ”

Jeroboam came to power in the northern kingdom (Israel) in 927 f.Kr. He set up two golden calves, one in Dan and one in Bethel, and told the people that these were the gods who brought them up from Egypt. In this way, he wanted to stand up with his power as an alternative to the power in Jerusalem (1 Kings 12:25….). Later Ahab was king, he married Jezebel, the daughter of a Sidinar king, and began to worship Ba’al. He brought Jehoshaphat king of the southern kingdom (Judah) with him to go to war against the king of Syria, but Jehoshaphat wanted to ask the Lord for advice. God’s prophets came and said it was better to go to war, as they had intended, but Jehoshaphat wanted answers from several prophets, so they got hold of Micah and he came and said something else. He had learned more and gave an explanation that seemed strange, God had asked for someone who could trick Ahab into going to war, so that he fell in the war. Then the spirit came forward and said that he would be a spirit of lies in the mouths of the prophesies. So they were going to give him false prophecies. Was it the same spirit that Micah had received? Yes, because at first he prophesied the same way as the others, but then the king asked him another time and then he got to know something else.

1 Kings 22, 10 Now the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah were sitting on their thrones, arrayed in their robes, at the threshing floor at the entrance of the gate of Samaria, and all the prophets were prophesying before them.

11 And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made for himself horns of iron and said, “Thus says the Lord, ‘With these you shall push the Syrians until they are destroyed. ’”

12 And all the prophets prophesied so and said, “Go up to Ramoth-gilead and triumph; the Lord will give it into the hand of the king. ”

Micaiah Prophesies Against Ahab

13 And the messenger who went to summon Micaiah said to him, “Behold, the words of the prophets with one accord are favorable to the king. Let your word be like the word of one of them, and speak favorably. ”

14 But Micaiah said, “As the Lord lives, what the Lord says to me, that I will speak. ”

15 And when he had come to the king, the king said to him, “Micaiah, shall we go to Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall we refrain? ” And he answered him, “Go up and triumph; the Lord will give it into the hand of the king. ”

16 But the king said to him, “How many times shall I make you swear that you speak to me nothing but the truth in the name of the Lord? ”

17 And he said, “I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd. And the Lord said, ‘These have no master; let each return to his home in peace. ’”

18 And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “Did I not tell you that he would not prophesy good concerning me, but evil? ”

19 And Micaiah said, “Therefore hear the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing beside him on his right hand and on his left;

20 and the Lord said, ‘Who will entice Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead? ’ And one said one thing, and another said another.

21 Then a spirit came forward and stood before the Lord, saying, ‘I will entice him. ’

22 And the Lord said to him, ‘By what means? ’ And he said, ‘I will go out, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. ’ And he said, ‘You are to entice him, and you shall succeed; go out and do so. ’

23 Now therefore behold, the Lord has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets; the Lord has declared disaster for you. ”

24 Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near and struck Micaiah on the cheek and said, “How did the Spirit of the Lord go from me to speak to you? ”

25 And Micaiah said, “Behold, you shall see on that day when you go into an inner chamber to hide yourself. ”

26 And the king of Israel said, “Seize Micaiah, and take him back to Amon the governor of the city and to Joash the king’s son,

27 and say, ‘Thus says the king, “Put this fellow in prison and feed him meager rations of bread and water, until I come in peace. ”’”

28 And Micaiah said, “If you return in peace, the Lord has not spoken by me. ” And he said, “Hear, all you peoples! ”

And it went as Micah prophesied. I imagine that the other prophets also had God’s Spirit, but how could they be so wrong? The difference could be that Micah had inaugurate himself more to the Lord, therefore he got the right answer and it was enough for the Lord to play his political game. We should learn from this in our time, there may be many Christians, who have received the same Spirit from God, who present themselves as leaders. also political leaders, as if they were prophets, without consecrating themselves to the Lord, in order to get the right answer.

Later, Jehoshaphat made an effort to seek the Lord and brought the people to pray for themselves and their country, and the Lord answered that he would fight for them, so that they should give priority to praise him. This is an important lesson for posterity, also in the new covenant (Joel 3:17).

2.Kr 20: 13 Meanwhile all Judah stood before the Lord, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.

14 And the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, son of Benaiah, son of Jeiel, son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, in the midst of the assembly.

15 And he said, “Listen, all Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: Thus says the Lord to you, ‘Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed at this great horde, for the battle is not yours but God’s.

16 Tomorrow go down against them. Behold, they will come up by the ascent of Ziz. You will find them at the end of the valley, east of the wilderness of Jeruel.

17 You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem. ’ Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, and the Lord will be with you. ”

18 Then Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell down before the Lord, worshiping the Lord.

19 And the Levites, of the Kohathites and the Korahites, stood up to praise the Lord, the God of Israel, with a very loud voice.

20 And they rose early in the morning and went out into the wilderness of Tekoa. And when they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem! Believe in the Lord your God, and you will be established; believe his prophets, and you will succeed. ”

21 And when he had taken counsel with the people, he appointed those who were to sing to the Lord and praise him in holy attire, as they went before the army, and say, “Give thanks to the Lord, for his steadfast love endures forever. ”

22 And when they began to sing and praise, the Lord set an ambush against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah, so that they were routed.

23 For the men of Ammon and Moab rose against the inhabitants of Mount Seir, devoting them to destruction, and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, they all helped to destroy one another.

The northern kingdom lasted a couple of hundred years, then the Assyrians took the land, Samaria fell in 722 f.Kr. They wanted to take Jerusalem too, but King Uzziah prayed to God and he saved them. He called the king of Assyria the staff with which he struck, to punish the people, but he saw it differently that he wanted to destroy many peoples, but the staff could not lift the one who struck.

Isaiah 10: 5 Ah, Assyria, the rod of my anger; the staff in their hands is my fury!

6 Against a godless nation I send him, and against the people of my wrath I command him, to take spoil and seize plunder, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.

7 But he does not so intend, and his heart does not so think; but it is in his heart to destroy, and to cut off nations not a few;

8 for he says: “Are not my commanders all kings?

9 Is not Calno like Carchemish? Is not Hamath like Arpad? Is not Samaria like Damascus?

10 As my hand has reached to the kingdoms of the idols, whose carved images were greater than those of Jerusalem and Samaria,

11 shall I not do to Jerusalem and her idols as I have done to Samaria and her images? ”

12 When the Lord has finished all his work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, he will punish the speech of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria and the boastful look in his eyes.

13 For he says: “By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom, for I have understanding; I remove the boundaries of peoples, and plunder their treasures; like a bull I bring down those who sit on thrones.

14 My hand has found like a nest the wealth of the peoples; and as one gathers eggs that have been forsaken, so I have gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved a wing or opened the mouth or chirped. ”

15 Shall the axe boast over him who hews with it, or the saw magnify itself against him who wields it? As if a rod should wield him who lifts it, or as if a staff should lift him who is not wood!

It so happened that God saved Jerusalem by sending his angel to fight for them.

2 Kings 19: 32 “Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the king of Assyria: He shall not come into this city or shoot an arrow there, or come before it with a shield or cast up a siege mound against it.

33 By the way that he came, by the same he shall return, and he shall not come into this city, declares the Lord.

34 For I will defend this city to save it, for my own sake and for the sake of my servant David. ”

35 And that night the angel of the Lord went out and struck down 185,000 in the camp of the Assyrians. And when people arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies.

We can take this as a guide to how it will be when Jesus comes with his angels (John 19:11….). We will look forward to that, but then we will also see and experience that he comes to us here and now, yes, because he has promised to be with us all the days, until the end of the world.

Grace and Truth.

Moses told the people that they should be God’s children and warn them not to rebel, otherwise they would lose their land. If they then returned to the Lord, he would let them come back and then they would be circumcised in the heart. This is how it went and Paul spoke of the new covenant as the circumcision of the heart in the Holy Spirit.

Rom.2:28 For no one is a Jew who is merely one outwardly, nor is circumcision outward and physical.

29 But a Jew is one inwardly, and circumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter. His praise is not from man but from God.

Jesus came to his own, but they did not receive him, but those who received him he gave the right to becom the children of God, born of the water of life and the Spirit of God, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit. They were the true Jews, and they preached the gospel to the Gentiles, as prophesied. John the Baptist said that the law came through Moses, but grace and truth came through Christ, he baptizes with the Holy Spirit, he is the one who has the bride. Yes, he sends us the Spirit of truth, it reveals the Word of God to us, and leads us to the whole truth, so that it sets us free. Christ is the way, the truth and the life, that way leads us to the Father, so that we may experience his love and care, he raises us and teaches us by his Word and his Spirit. (John 1:3,14).

According to Paul, Christ is the head of the man and the man is the head of the woman, and in this way Christ is the head of the church that is his bride. He paid the price for us with his own blood, so we shall belong to him. By believing in him, we receive his Spirit by grace alone. Have we received it, so we have his Spirit, then we rejoice in him. We believe ourselves saved, it is in hope, but then it is important for us to receive the right training, so that we are aware of what it is we have to rely on and hope for.

The fallout in the New Covenant.

Elce the Jews continued with their apostasy in the new covenant, by demanding that those who turn to the God of Israel should be circumcised. But Paul said that Christ’s circumcision was good enough, the alternative would be to fall away from the new covenant and go back to the old one.

Col.2:6 Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him,

7 rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.

8 See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.

9 For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily,

10 and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.

11 In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,

12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead.

13 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,

14 by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.

15 He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him.

It would be to preach another gospel and be cursed and receive another spirit.

Gal.1:  I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel—

7 not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ.

8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.

9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.

10 For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.

Paul Called by God

11 For I would have you know, brothers, that the gospel that was preached by me is not man’s gospel.

12 For I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.

2 Cor.11: 2 For I feel a divine jealousy for you, since I betrothed you to one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ.

3 But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.

4 For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it readily enough.

The women’s movement has protested against Paul’s teaching that the man is the head of the woman, but the main reason is that then Christis the head of the man and the man is the head of the woman, and so Christ is the head of the church which is his bride. If it then means rebellion against the Lord, then it is the fall in the new covenant, just as the fall in the old covenant. If they then think of an alternative, then there is no one, Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, none can come to the Father exept through Him. Jesus sends us the Holy Spirit from heaven, for which we must honor and thank God and the Lamb. It so happens that Jesus’ work of salvation is complete and perfect. If anyone tries to come up with another explanation, it is not the truth. He does not give his glory and honor to anyone else, he does not give honor to idols.

Politicians and economists would like to negotiate to get an agreement and a contract, but the new covenant is already the contract we have to dedicate ourselves to, so we do not negotiate about this! If they do not want to be reconciled with God like this, then it is the fallout that is the alternative. They clearly think that with their gender equality policy they will be in a negotiating position, but that is not the case. It is not fair to try to lure people to fall. We have received God’s Spirit from the God of heaven and it is not possible to equate it with this worldly spirit, the spirit of this worldly god. The evil spirits do not go together with God’s Spirit, they must flee. Christ has paid the price for us with his own blood once and for all, so you cannot come and negotiate the price, nor can you come with an evil spirit and try to equate it with God’s Spirit. But if you accept Christ in faith, you will receive his Spirit by grace alone, so that you may be saved and free. If you have come with idolatry into fellowship with evil spirits, then his blood cleanses you from idolatry and you receive God’s Spirit by sheer grace. Then the evil spirits must flee.

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.

11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.

14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.

16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;

17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,

18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,

The fall in Judaism and Islam led to colonial rule, and so did the fall in the church.

The class struggle was an inner driving force in the Roman Empire, so it grew as a republic with democracy at the top level, into a great empire. At that time, Israel made an agreement with them. But then the class struggle turned into civil war and it became an empire, where the emperor was to be worshipped as a god. At that time, Christ appeared in Israel and preached the gospel of God’s kingdom. He trained his disciples and sent them to the Gentiles also, with the gospe, and after a couple of hundred years Christianity was legalized in the Roman Empire and became the state religion.

Christ received opposition from the Jewish religious leadedrs, it was the foolish Shepherd shepherding the sheep for the sheep-traders, but Christ is the Good Shepherd who gave his life for the sheep and bought us back to God with his own blood. Such opposing interests are still there. But Christ chose Paul as an apostle instead of Judas, then he chose one who was sold as a slave without knowing it, instead of one who sold and knew it. Then it is natural to assume that it is the interest of herding the sheep for the sheep-traders that lies behind the protest against Paul’s teachings. This may be due to much political and economic power behind it, even supranational colonial power.

The Jews’ apostasy in the new covenant came from the fact that they demanded that the Gentiles who return to the God of Israel should be circumcised. In Islam, the Gentiles agreed to this, so they even invented circumcision for women. But for the Jews, it was as if the men married the foreign women who worshipped idols and participated in their idolatry. And as if the women worshipped the gods of the people around them. Such was Israel’s apostasy.

The princely Muslim caliphate quickly conquered the entire Arab world as a supranational colonial power. The Catholic Church was more and more characterized by being an empire and so it was clearly a colonial empire in South America, Central America and Mexico and what more? The word “Tsar” came from “Caesar”, so the Russian Tsarist Empire was like an empire, with Christianity as a religion, by the Orthodox Church.

Protestantism came as a renewal of the evangelical preaching and thus had a liberating effect, especially as an opposition to the Catholic Church. Nevertheless, the French Revolution came and it resulted in the pope coming to crown Napoleon emperor, but he took the crown himself and put it on his head. The Napoleonic wars were characterized by spreading the revolution, but what would it do other than establish a new colonial empire?

The fallout came in Protestantism as well, through German philosophy, Kant, Hegel, Marx …. It broke through in the Russian Revolution and so it affected the Orthodox Church as well. It lead to dictatorship, so where had freedom gone?

After the Cold War and the fall of the Berlin Wall, the people of Eastern Europe looked to the west for freedom and democracy. For many, this meant seeking membership in the EU and/or NATO. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, there have been several independent states, one of them is Ukraine and they have been interested in membership in the EU and NATO. Therefore, Russia went to war against Ukraine, but it then has the intention to conquer Ukrainian land, so they will lose their country, that is?! As if they have fallen away from the Lord and started to worship other gods and should be punished for it?

In comparison, Norway is a member of NATO, but not of the EU, we have managed ourselves with a trade agreement with the EU. Here are still conflicting interests with us. The EU started as an economic cooperation with trade agreements, then it was more characterized as a political union and what is the nature of that? Surely it must be based on the national state living to function?

But now has the climate policy, especially after the Paris Agreement, become a religion to replace Christianity. The EU’s policy bears the mark of that, so that EU appears as an imperial power in comparison with Napoleon, to become colonial commonwealth.

The gospel is a liberating message and the Christian church is to preach it.

But the liberating message in the gospel is the same, and the Christian church is to preach it, same to whether it calls itself Catholic, Orthodox or Protestant. These names have to do with the organization of the church, but the Spirit of God is not limited by it. God promised that he would pour out his Spirit over all flesh (Joel.3) and such is the gospel of Christ. It is the foundation on which the church is built, and must of course be preached in it, or else it will take away the foundation of its existence. Christ and his disciples preached the gospel of the kingdom of God, his kingdom is not of this world, so it is not subject to any human government, and that is precisely how it is liberating.

The idols made of sticks and stones was the Lie, the Devil is the Liar. In contrast to this Christ is the Truth, who sets us free from bondage to sin and idols.
