Multivers – & simulation hypothesis.
My comments to two videos on fermilab.com.
This is about the rationality in the Bible and real sciences. Both tell about past, present time and future. But the Bible tells how to be blessed, to get a good future.
God calls us into his rest and will lead us to it. But there is a danger of going astray and instead come into a simulation that is strange to both heaven and earth.

God is in his eternal heaven not so far away, to come into his presence we need him to come to us.
Big Bang started with the spanning of space-time, but the mathematical description breaks down in the singularity, like in black holes. By multiple universes there would be more dimensions. But we can also have more dimensions without it to be universes.
I like to compare this with what is written in the Bible. In the beginning God created heaven and earth. The earth was empty and dark, but God’s Spirit hoovered over the ocean. Then God said “let there be light” and there was light. Then came the six “light-days” when God said “let there be ….” and so it was. He watched it and saw it was good. He had planned everything and did it, so why did he watch over it? I think there still there was a matter of chance according to quantum mechanics, even for God.
Apostle John said that in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. Through him alle things were made. In him was life and the life was the light for humans. The Word became flesh and lived among us, we saw his glory, the glory that the only Son has from his Father, full of grace and glory (John.1).
He who said that light should shine out of darkness, made his light shine in our hearts, to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ (2.Corint.4,6).
So what is written in the first creation history in Genesis.1 is used symbolically for what God does inside us, with his Spirit and his Word. This is also what we see in the second creation history in Genesis.2.
This life and light in God’s Word was in God’s heaven before time began. It is a spiritual reality. We could not come to him, but he came to our world and we are totally dependent on that to come in society with him. He is Spirit and he is still in his eternal heaven, but that need not be so far away from us. We may experience it like new dimensions. God sent his Son, Jesus, to our world and with the gospel of him, he calls us into his presence.
Apostle Paul said to the Church that God has blessed us with all spiritual blessing in Christ in heaven, for he chose us in him before the creation of the world, to be holy and blameless in him. God raised us with him and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ. He will bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head – bring all together in Christ (Ephesians.1,3.4.10 & 2,6).
So this was his original plan. It is just for us to bless him, so that we become blessed in him.
One man said he could equally as well believe in the ancient Greek gods. Here come my answers to him.
How to know Israel’s God is the only God.
In ancient times many people believed that the lights up on the sky were gods, but the prophets in the Bible told the people that those gods that did not create heaven and earth were not gods. People made gods from sticks and stones and worshipped them, but God’s prophets told them that they were not gods, they had no spirit, they did not hear, think or speak, they did nothing. How could they know that he was God then? He saw, heard and talked and told them what was going to happen and then it did happen. Like was prophesied Jesus came to the world, God loved the world so much that he sent his only son, so everyone who believe in him shall not perish, but have eternal life. Everyone who received him he gave right to become God’s child, borne by the Holy Spirit and what is borne by the spirit is spirit. He spoke God’s Word and God did miracles trough him. He knew he was going to be killed and told it to his disciples, but he would not leave them as fatherless children. The heavenly Father rose him from death and set him with his right hand side in heaven and he sent them the Holy Spirit. He had told them to preach the gospel to the people and to do like he did and he enabled them to do so by the Holy Spirit. So the Father and the Son cares for them and enables them for the task they have got, by filling them with the Holy Spirit. This is still functioning and this is how it should be in any Christian Church.
Evidence for science and witness for God. What’s the difference?
We have a lot of “evidence”, it’s just that it is not repeatable, since there is only one God and nobody can do like he does.
Many people have told that they have been healed from sickness, for example cancer. One man told he had been healed from cystic fibrosis, that was a bit special, since it is a genetic disease. Now I mention just was told me in a small church I used to go to, but the Lord has let me know that there are a lot of wonders happening elsewhere too.
Now you have added an s to god. But the bible says that there is only one God and that’s what I say too.
In the Bible God has told me how I can know that he is the only God and this is how I know it. You don’t give a dam about what is written in the Bible, then you don’t give a dam about what I say either. You say you can equally as well believe in the ancient Greek gods, but then you don’t give a dam about real sciences either, even though science has long ago shown that the celestial bodies are not gods, but planets and stars. So it seems like your position is like those religious leaders who fought against the pioneers of modern science. But the prophets in the old testament had long ago told that the celestial bodies were not gods.
It depends on what you mean by evidence and proof. I use the methods described in the Bible and compare it to the methods in real sciences. In mathematics we start with axioms which are simple and obvious and deduce sentences from them. In the same way my faith in God is for my life and my thinking, for my hear and my brain. I believe God created everything by his Word, that’s why nature is understandable. He created humans in his image, that’s why we understand. so I thank God for the real sciences, it makes us understand better. In natural sciences we use the hypothetical deductive method. Karl Popper has explained it well, stating that a scientific theory can not be proved by experience, but it may be disproved this way. So what is evidence for a theory? It is experience, for example observation in an experiment, that does not disprove the theory, but rather confirms it. But it does not prove the theory. Evidence serves as prove in a criminal case and in setting diagnosis. But it does not prove a theory in biology and medicine either. So evidence for at theory is like we call witness for God, like somebody getting healed by prayer, but the difference is that this is not repeatable, since there is only one God and nobody can do like he does.
Axioms for thinking by brain and source of life in heart.
I talk about my faith in God as an axiom for my life and my thinking, it is more than natural sciences, nobody think only scientific theories, but they think a lot for finding such theories. The Bible calls the gods made of sticks and stones “the Lie” On the contrary Jesus is the truth that sets us free for the slavery under the false gods and the sin. The point is that when I seek God on the foundation of the gospel of Christ, I seek the truth, so this makes me even more interested in real sciences I can compare my faith in god with Plato’s insight in the world of perfect ideas including the idea of goodness. He explained the problem of eval, by humans reduced insight in the world of ideas. This can be compared by what is said in the Bible, by the fall of sin the humans were separated from God. This turned out to be the problem for the problem for God’s people in the old testament also. But with one sin-offer, Jesus took away the sin once and for all. On that foundation we can come into God’s presence. Everyone who received Jesus he gave right to become children of God, borne by the Holy Spirit and what is borne by the Spirit is spirit. God loved the world so much that he sent his Son Jesus, so that everyone who believe in him shall not perish, but have eternal life. Jesus gives us life and spirit from heaven in our hearts and this is eternal. So now we can say we know by heart.
“Axiom of life” sound weird, i put it my way, but God is the spring of living water and Jesus said that he gives it to everyone who comes to him and it will become a spring of living water inside them that gives eternal life. I don’t tell anyone what they shall believe, I tell that everyone who believe in Christ he gives eternal life, by faith in Christ we get the Holy Spirit of mere grace. And God does wonders among us by his Spirit. That’s the correct explanation. How do I know? Imagine a man and her wife with their newborn baby? It starts to play with things and starts talking. How do they react to that? They don’t say that what you say is wrong, so you better shut up. They don’t say that what you do is non sensible, so you better try to do something sensible. Because they love their child and meets it at its level and talks with it and plays with it, hopefully they understand that this is how it learns. They care for it and gives it what it needs and teaches what is good for life as it grows. Our heavenly Father is like that. We may come to him with our needs and talk with him and he answers. So that is also how we know. I can very well include the methods of real sciences in this, I just make it more systematic. Learning by playing becomes observations and experiments. Talking as I play becomes saying hypothesis and theories.
I have told you how I know … You ask me to prove it, so what kind of a “prove” do you want?
Locked out or included in God’s community, as his child?
After the fall of sin humans were locked out from the garden of Eden, man was condemned to death. But Jesus died instead of us, God reconciled the world with himself this way. On that foundation we may come into society with God like before the fall of sin, but now Christ is the last Adam who is from heaven and for us has become a life-giving spirit. For me real sciences is like cultivating and protecting the garden and eating from the trees other than the tree that gave knowledge of good and bad (the tree of knowledge) and the tree that gives eternal life (the tree of life). By faith in Christ we may eat of the tree of life. So this is how I know. But you are not interesting in this kind of knowledge. Why? Obviously because you ask for the knowledge humans got by eating of “the tree of knowledge”, because you said you could equally as well believe in the ancient Greek gods. Then you better ask somebody else but me, for I don’t want that kind of knowledge and I don’t seek it either.
I experience that I can come to God as his child with all my needs and talk with him and he answers me and cares for me and gives me what is good for me. He does not answer me this way: “I don’t give a dam about what you say”. If you shall continue to answer me that way, this conversation has no sensible meaning any more. You can just try to talk to other people like that and see how far you will come with it. But in my opinion it is in high time that you just start to listen to what a grown up man tries to tell you.
Evidence is experience with a special rationality. So is witness of God, but it is not repeatable like evidence.
Evidence is experience with rationality, with a hypothesis or theory that is confirmed or disproved. That it is confirmed does not mean that it is proved but supports it. When we do an experiment, the measurement result has little meaning without the rationality in the experiment. When we have found a theory in this way, we can use it to make something useful and using experiments to find out how. In this way we get technology. So by the rationality we learn to know and understand how the world is and how to make something new that has value to us and make life better for us. Now it is fully possible to refer to the world as we see it and use it against any rational idea of making and getting anything new and better, but such experience without understanding is not the same as science. This is not the same as evidence in science, modern science is not stupid. Belief in God and his Word is the rationality in Christianity. By faith we understand that God created everything by his Word, so that what is visible has been made of what is not visible, it is made of invisible ideas. By faith in Christ we are blessed, so by turning to him we will experience that God makes something better for us. This is quite new to the world, so it is surely possible to find evidence to use against it, but it is with lac of rationality. In earlier times this was not so easy to understand, so people believed that the lights up on the sky were gods and they made gods of sticks and stones, made poetries about them and started to believe in such poetries, it became religion that made them slaves. But modern physics has disproved that these lights were gods and confirmed what God’s prophets in the old testament said.
How God talks to me.
I grew up in a Protestant Church and was taught to call upon Christ as my savior and Lord. The eternal life was planted in me by the faith in Christ and it has survived. At about 16 years I came into a free Church where I experienced that Jesus talked to me through translation of speech in tongues and he has continued to do so later. The correct explanation for this is we experience that Jesus gives us life and Spirit from heaven. By this Spirit God does wonders. The point is that God loves us and cares for us as his children. The point is also that in this way he makes us witness of him and his salvation. This I compare to evidence, I even call it evidence, but it is not like evidence in science, it is God’s wonder, so it is not repeatable and does not serve as evidence to disprove or prove any scientific theory. God cares for his children and in this way he cares for what he has created too. To me real sciences are included in this, both as what he cares about and uses to care about his children and what he has created. I have recorded such messages and written them for about 30 years and put them on my blog tsivert.com, it is in Norwegian. The last 10 years or so are on video. I also write a little about how I understand it as messages to me. Others may think it is to them also, but in some cases it becomes clear that it is especially to me. I can find a meeting where he who was healed from cystic fibrosis translated a speech in tongues. Two meetings where we prayed for healing of my mother from shingles and pneumonia and how Jesus answered, he answered by translation of speech in tongues, saying that I have healing, but I should know that it was only because he had taken away the sin with his offer once and for all. So that was how I had healing for my mother also. After two days they could see that the shingles had started to go away, but the pneumonia lasted two weeks more, so we prayed for her again. I drove home by night and when I came to the hospital they were about to bring her home. On the phone I said to the doctor that we had prayed for healing for her and I believed this is how she was healed. Then he said that they also believed. Many have told about healing from cancer for example, they told it to the doctors and they must at least admit that something has happened that they can’t explain by science and medicine. One man preached and witnessed that he was healed from cystic fibrosis and heart attack. I can find meetings where he translates speech in tongues. This is a bit special, since cystic fibrosis is a genetic disease. Normally people with this disease live little more than 30 years with correct treatment, but he lived until he was about 60. He got cancer, they prayed for him again, but this time he was not healed. This is also how it is. We are gladly surprised when it happens and thank God for it. In fact it also happens that they are surprised that it does not happen, but they thank God anyway, being sure that we get something better after this life on earth. Once I was thinking about something I would like to read from the Bible on the meeting, but it seems to be too much to say as and ordinary witness and confessed it in my mind as I started to drive. When the preacher got to start preaching he said that this time we shall do something unusual, to open for free witnesses before the speech. So I stepped forth and read from to places in the Bible and said just a little about it. In the end of the meeting a woman preached in tongues and the preacher translated it. It was obviously an answer to what I had said and it made me change plans. If you want to know anything more about this, I can find it for you.
Do we live in a simulated multiverse?
Creation or simulation?
God created humans in his image and blessed them, that means to be included in near society with him, be in contact with him, be favored by him, so that he gives you a good future. God is good and what he does is good, by faith you will experience it.
God set Adam in the garden of Eden, he should do the gardening and protect it. He could eat of all the trees, except the tree that gave knowledge of good and bad. But the serpent said to the woman that if you eat of the tree that gives knowledge of good and bad, you will become like God and know good and bad. So they did, but then they were “kicked out”, God said to Adam that now the world should be cursed because of him, thorn and thistle would grow and with sweat in his face he should eat his bread. He was soil and should return to soil.
So this knowledge was a kind of moral philosophy, with this knowledge they started to believe that the lights up on the sky were gods and made gods of sticks and stones and worshipped them, it became religion and they became slaves under fake gods. In this way they came into a simulation that was strange both to heaven and earth.
A simulation that disables people.
But Abraham believed God and God declared him righteous because of his fait. So God blessed him at said that he would make his tribe numerous and in his tribe every peoples should be blessed. This blessing we get by faith in Christ.
Moses said that they should not make any image of God and so said the prophets.
Deuteremony 5,5 while I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to declare to you the word of the LORD. For you were afraid because of the fire, and you did not go up into the mountain. He said:
6 “‘I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.
7 “‘You shall have no other gods before me.
8 “‘You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
9 You shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,
10 but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
11 “‘You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.
Psalms 115,
1 Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness!
2 Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?”
3 Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.
4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of human hands.
5 They have mouths, but do not speak; eyes, but do not see.
6 They have ears, but do not hear; noses, but do not smell.
7 They have hands, but do not feel; feet, but do not walk; and they do not make a sound in their throat.
8 Those who make them become like them; so do all who trust in them.
Then we can say that this knowledge gave them a simulation of what is in heaven, on earth and under it. But this simulation disabled them.
This issu is still actual. Real sciences in not this kind of knowledge. It fits more to the freedom in the gospel of Christ and to liberalism. But there is certainly a huge interest of getting power trough religion, economy, moral- and political philosophy and through science in general. The result is that people are deceived and end up with fantasy and simulation. Then it is important to make clear what methods we use in real sciences, to make sure that it remains as fundamental and valuable to the people and the society as it has been. And it is important for us to make clear what kind om methods we use when we search god on the basement of the gospel of Christ.
The gospel gives room for human weakness and gives us both power and wisdom from God.
When Jesus was on earth he did wonders, God did it. Still the Hebrew leaders didn`t believe in him and asked what wonder he would do to make them believe in him. Certainly they would expect Messiah to be a mighty king on the earth, but he said that they should not get any other signs that the Jonah-sign, for like he was in the belly of the fish in three days, Jesus would be under the earth for three days. He should be killed, but after three days he should rise from the dead.
Apostle Paul said that the Hebrew asked for signs, then the gospel seemed to weak, the Greek asked for wisdom, then the gospel seemed folly. But God’s weakness is stronger than men and his foolishness is wiser than men. I see it this way, that since the wisdom was foolish it gave room for the power of God, and since the power was weak, it gave room for the wisdom. Since humans are weak creatures made of dust, they need it. There was room for the human, natural weakness and that is important for nature philosophy to have a chance and later it became important for nature science to develop. In the gospel Paul found the power of God and his method was to use it (1.Corint.1-2).
