My faith, prayer and hope.

I was taught to call upon Christ as my Savior and Lord and ask Him to save my loved ones and pray for the people and the country and pray the Lord’s Prayer. When I was nine years old, I understood that salvation was the opposite of being foolish and deceived as in the fall, so I began to ask him to save us from it as the first priority, ask him to save woman from it and ask him to give me a saved woman for girlfriend and wife as second priority. When I prayed like this, I felt that Jesus was close to me, like a shadow at my right hand, so I got to know Him as my best friend. He was the life that was planted in me by God’s Word and it was going to grow.

When I was in love with a girl, the perfect time for me was to acknowledge the name of Jesus, it suited with the faith and love that God had given me in my heart, the love relationship between Christ and his bride was born in me by the Holy Spirit, so for me it was the love relationship between man and woman. When I went to high school, I discovered that it suited with Paul’s teachings and the promise that by faith we would be allowed to enter into God’s resting place (Heb.3-4). According to Paul, Christ is the head of the man, and the man is the head of the woman, and so Christ is the head of the church, which is his bride. Paul founded it both on the basis of creation history and the gospel.

I started to go to the Free Evangelical Assembly and got to experience that Jesus spoke to me, both through speech and through the interpretation speech of tongues, it was a bit cool and magnificent for me to experience that him as I knewn as my best friend, when I was a little boy, sat at the right hand of the Father in heaven and spoke to me from heaven. He told me that His work of salvation is complete and perfect, so it was just for me to believe it and receive in faith. This is how he has continued to speak to me ever since. We are to rest on the basis of Jesus’ finished work of salvation, we are to fix our eyes on Him.

Heb.12,1Therefore let us also, seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Jesus said I should come to Him with my case, surrender 100% to Him and let Him take care of this matter for me. He told me to see that He has set before me an open door that no one can close and invited me (Rev. 3:7-8). His work of salvation is complete and perfect, so no one can close that door for me. He has paid the price for us with his own blood, it is the ticket to heaven, also when he comes to fetch his blood-bought bride.

Jesus told us that there is only one way people can be the saved and that is by his name being lifted up. There is a good reason why I start by writing about my faith, prayer and hope to Him. The Pharisees and the scribes loaded heavy burdens on the people, but Jesus gave them rest.

Matthew 5,25 At that season Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou didst hide these things from the wise and understanding, and didst reveal them unto babes: 26yea, Father, for so it was well-pleasing in thy sight. 27All things have been delivered unto me of my Father: and no one knoweth the Son, save the Father; neither doth any know the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son willeth to reveal him. 28Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Here Jesus speaks to us about revelation and says that revelation is important to us. God reveales his salvation for us in Christ, through his Word and his Spirit, so that revelation is important to us, it is liberating and it gives us wisdom from heaven, it makes everything easier for us.

When I write about the history of philosophy, we will see that there are many who have struggled to acknowledge what is true and right, and then they have drawn their conclusions. Still there can be many ways of understanding it. I believe in the Father and the Son, I see and experience the kingdom of God and want and can understand the history of philosophy from that point of view. My point is not to teach people to struggle, but to show that we have the solution, which makes everything easier, so we don’t have to struggle.

Ephesians 6.10 Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. 11Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. 

Romanticism.

The Enlightenment ended in 1789, then came Romanticism. Roussau died in 1778, but was regarded as a romantic thinker. He was the first to say time and to make his mark on posterity. Here there will be mostly talk about art and culture, authorship, using freedom of expression. Here, words such as “realism” are given new interpretations, modern becomes modernism, natural becoms naturalistic.

The consensus is that Romanticism peaked from 1800 until 1850.

Creation story.

The Bible uses much literary means that can well be understood as romantic, as expressions of emotions such as fear, joy and love. We see this already in the creation story.

Genesis1,1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2And the earth was waste and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep: and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4

Genesis 2, 1And the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2And on the seventh day God finished his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3And God blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it; because that in it he rested from all his work which God had created and made.

4These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that Jehovah God made earth and heaven. 5And no plant of the field was yet in the earth, and no herb of the field had yet sprung up; for Jehovah God had not caused it to rain upon the earth: and there was not a man to till the ground; 6but there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. 7And Jehovah God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. 

Judaism.

When God led his people out of Egypt, he would lead them in a pillar of cloud by day, and a pillar of light by night, he was in a cloud on Mount Sinai, and in a cloud that filled the tabernacle. This was given a symbolic interpretation because he was in the tabernacle and the temple with his Spirit, even though it was not physically visible. The spiritual blessing was that he with his Spirit lived in their hearts, so it was like a well-watered garden. Then they found it right to describe it with poetic means, where sun, moon, star were used symbolically. Here are some examples.

Psalm 98,7 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof;

The world, and they that dwell therein;

8Let the floods clap their hands;

Let the hills sing for joy together

9Before Jehovah; for he cometh to judge the earth:

He will judge the world with righteousness,

And the peoples with equity.

That the river and the tree will clap their hands, the mountains and the hills will cheer in a choir, expresses joy to the people who live there. But it is also the case that men cultivate the land, water it with water from the river, so that the tree bears fruit for food and nourishment for the people.

In the Song of Solomon there is a story about the love affair between King Solomon and his young bride, the “lytelause reine”. He caresses and wakes her up and wants to get her out with him, he rejoices in the love between them and wants his veins to enjoy it too. This is the prelude to the love relationship between Christ and his bride, the Christian revival is that he awakens her to life in fellowship with him and the Father, so that at home in the Father’s house there is a wedding feast.

Isaiah 55,9 Thou hast caught my heart, my sister, my brother.

You have captured my mind with a single glance,

with one of the leaks around your neck.

10 Thy love is beautiful, my sister, my brother.

Your love is better than wine,

and the fragrance of your ointments

But then the Jews fall away from God, and the water of the living water, and then all these things collapse.

Jeremiah 2,13 For my people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

14Is Israel a servant? is he a home-born slave? why is he become a prey?

Jeremiah 17,12 A glorious throne, set on high from the beginning, is the place of our sanctuary. 13O Jehovah, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be put to shame. They that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken Jehovah, the fountain of living waters. 

The gospel of the kingdom of God or the Beast and the false prophet.

The Jews are still waiting for the Messiah to come and stand on the Mount of Olives, and there are certainly many Christians who do too. Then there will be an end to the spiritual trampling down, that the pagans trample down the front yard and that means the end of the time of grace for the pagans. This looks suspiciously like the five ignorant bridesmaids who did not bring oil in the jugs in addition to the oil on the oil lamp. It degenerates as if they mean they are so wise that they despise the faith of children, especially for boy children who are not circumcised and thus despised later in life as well, it is such people that they do not want to degrade themselves to talk to. In other words, if we try to say something to them, they easily feel offended. If such men invoke Christ as their Savior and Lord, and acknoldedge him before man, it is absolutely monstrous for them, so may turn out like they reject Christ also.

Then they start to write poetry instead and even expect them to gain power over other people with their poetry. It should remind us of Beast and the False Prophet (John 19:11-21). I mean this was what Jesus spoke of as the kingdom of darkness in the message that came to my first meeting in Maranata.

“I am able to fill every place and a every meeting room today, says the Lord, even if the enemy storms ever so much, even if my people are on the side of what I really want to bring forth, even if there are only a few who will rise up from the kingdom that has not been accepted and which is the kingdom of darkness and begin to pass over into my kingdom.  If there are only a few who find the way to see me and see me in my glory, then I can with a few do great things at any place and at any time. The great crowd that I see, the multitude that devote themselves to me, that I may come down and begin to fertilize your faith and fertilize your love from me…. When this begins to happen according to my will and my counsel and you begin to receive my wisdom and my knowledge, then you will see that I am the living one and the one who can bring all things into proper shape. I am the one who paves the way, I am the one who lets my power be reveiled and paves the way for the individual who will go my way. I went to intercede and then there came a prophetic message that was not recorded. The Lord said that it was He who had put joy into me.  It is not of myself, it is of him, he is my Lord. He said that I should bring out this joy. He said that several times.

Freely told as I remembered: The Lord said that it was not a coincidence that we were there, we formed a unit, it probably indicated that it was he who had seen it together, he said that he had longed for this meeting.

Tore Kristiansen spoke about the God of power, he has created all things by his power. He said that God wanted to show His power over Pharaoh when He brought Israel out of Egypt.

“For all those who have longing, I will fill them with my spirit. For all those who thirst, I will come and fill with my spirit. For all those who ask me and have a longing, I will pour out streams on the thirst and water on the dry. So you will be allowed to feel that your heart will overflow with my glory. And if you are weak, I have power to give: if you are bowed down, I can lift you up. If you have sunk, my strong arm will come and pull you up. For I am the Lord, I will save to the uttermost. I want to revive the bowed down. I am quickening the hearts of the brokenhearted. I want to raise up my church from the dust and put my congregation in a high place. And they will know that I, the Lord, mention that which does not exist as if it were. And you will receive the spirit of faith in your heart. And you will experience that the God of power will reveal himself.

Do not fear and don`t be anxious. This is not for perfect, but it is for those who are in need of help. This is not for the perfect, this is for all my children who feel the need for help, feel the need for fullness, feel the need for deeper waters. And I will meet them. For without me no one can do anything, therefore come, fall down before me, and give me your whole heart. Then I will cleanse, remove, clear away and my glory will take place.

I can understand that the enemy of the soul can beat my children with discouragement. I know that the enemy of the soul can cause all the things my children are struggling with. But I, the Lord, am stronger, I have disarmed the strong. Because I’m the biggest, the strongest, I’m the most authoritarian. Therefore do not be afraid, but come to me and you will know that in my strong arm there is power, in my strong word there is redemption. Under my blood you have purification, and by faith you have access to the throne of grace.”

Jesus is the Messiah and has already stood on the Mount of Olives, so it cracked.

“Salvation is a gift, salvation is the outstretched hand of God. Salvation is complete and the bridge over the abyss itself is built, it is built solidly and thoroughly, the foundation holds alive and in death. And it is founded on eternal promises, it is founded on an eternal existence. Therefore, you need not fear for anything, for the foundation is laid. The rock is cracked.   (Yes, here everything breaks out)? what humanity needs.  I was beaten, abused, crushed for all your iniquities, for all your diseases. Instead of judgment, you will receive grace, instead of damnation, you will receive heaven, instead of death, you will have life and abundance. Come today and partake of the water of life for free, you get it by grace alone.

You don’t have to be bent down, but you can lift your gaze upwards. For the blood of my wounds gives you salvation – the blood creates and gives you redemption from all condemnation. The cleansing power of blood leads you over and into fellowship with me, says the Lord. You don’t have to go there without peace and hope and a future.   Through my shed blood, death has taken place for redemption from the judgment and guilt of sin, today there is grace, for the blood testifies, the blood speaks, the blood testifies of death, the blood speaks of grace. The Freedom in Christ or the bondage in the Great Harlot.

There are clearly many who despise the faith of children and mock us as stupid and reject Paul’s teaching that Christ is the head of the man and the man is the head of the woman and in this way Christ is the head of the church that is his bride. They call it women’s liberation and fight for equality. I was taught to call upon Christ as my Savior and Lord and ask Him to save ……. But it is as if they have replaced this prayer with demands for equality, it is as if they pray to the government instead, as if they were gods. This is clearly the religion of “the Great Harlot”. It is reminiscent of “Mother Israel” who was God’s wife, so her children would be God’s children. But she didn’t understand that and became a whore. So he took away his care for her, and the land was captivated, and the people were carried away to Babylonia. It is as if she is still in bondage in Babylonia, but the Lord is calling her to set herself free.

I cried when I look out over the immediate environment you are moving in. All those who cry out and long for life transformation and change. Are you still in this? I long to see you on your knees with men and women for whom I died. My grace is sufficient for you, and I have made you alive with me. I glorified my Father down here, and I want you to be in that chorus too, to glorify my Father.
