Can we get a “Theory of Everything” by one fundamental force? Sure we need God’s Word for to get a “Theory of Everything”.
“Physics is everything”, so they say. Can we get a “Theory of Everything” with one fundamental force? If so, it wouldn’t limit our thinking, would it? In many cases it may seem like science limit our thinking and many tries to use it that way. But watch out then, if science is still just science or if it becomes something more than that.
Physicists reckon extra dimensions are “rolled up” at elementary-particle level. It is visualized with us beeing like lineansarar, but an ant can walk around the line, so it becomes like an additional dimension for the ant. This is used, for example, to explain the basic forces of nature. Nevertheless, they can’t be sure if it really is so, for we are not like the ant that can rotate around the line.
“Many Universe Theory” and “Many Worlds Theory” are like extra dimensions at the macro level, but this is more speculative natural philosophy. The singularity limits the mathematical description, but it doesn’t limit God.
At a singularity we get 0 in denominator, this is not allowed in mathematics, so the law of physics in mathematical form collapses in black holes and in Big Bang. Time started in Big Bang. This suits to what the Bible says, that in the beginning God created heaven and earth (Genesis1,1). In the beginning was the word, the Word was with God and the Word was God. Everything came to be by him, in him was life and life was the light for humans (John1,1…). By faith we understand that everything was created by God’s Word, so that what is visible was made of what is invisible. So that’s why nature is understandable. What is new is that it is much understandable by mathematics. If you managed to unify the four forces in one, it would fit well to what is said in the Bible that God created everything by his Word, one word. That’s how I see it. But it seems hard to find a mathematical expression for this. I see it this way, that God created humans in his image, that’s why we understand. But I’m pretty sure there is a limit to our ability to understand by mathematics. In our daily life we don’t use much mathematics, we think and talk by using words and this we do before we use mathematics. But it is possible to use mathematical logics when we use words in our thinking and talking. Especially if we believe in God and his Word, by faith this is what we start to reason from, like axioms in mathematics. We just need to let the Holy Spirit reveal God’s Word for us.
In God’s garden with his extra dimensions.
What could be before time started? Eternity? God was in his eternal heaven before time started and he was and he still he is in his eternal heaven was not so far away. To think of more dimensions seems to be a god explanation. He still said his Word and what he said happened. Then he looked after that it was good. Why? It seems like randomness in nature is as fundamental that he is prepared for it too, still he is able to make it like he wants. God created man, east in Eden he had a garden and there he set the man he had created and told him to do the gardening and protect it. There was the tree that gave knowledge of god and eval, “the tree of knowledge”, and the tree that gave eternal life, “the three of life”. He could eat from all the trees, except the tree of knowledge. But why was it there then? That seems to be a hard question. But this garden symbolizes our thinking and thoughts of what is good and bad is a part of our thinking and so the tree is there. That they should not eat from it means that this is not what they shall live from, it shall not give them nutrition. We can understand it this way, that when they ate from it, then the ideas of good and eval became interned in them, so that the idea of eval made them eval. This is how I think about it. Man was condemned to death for this, but Jesus died instead of us as an offer for all human’s sin, in this way God reconciled the world by itself. Real sciences I regard as cultivating the ground and do the gardening. We can eat from all the trees except “the three of knowledge”. But how to eat from the three of life? By faith in Christ. In the Bible we have a theory of everything, when the Holy Spirit reveals God’s Word for us, we get to understand more of it. And I understand it this way, that by real sciences we also can understand more of it. It’s just to take care not to eat from the tree of “knowledge”, for this is not real science.
God created everything with his Word, so by faith we understand that what is visible is made of what is invisible (Heb.11,3). That’s why nature is understandable.
The 3-4 forces suits to this and so it does if it will be unified also. This is only a little part of our thinking, but it witnesses that very much of our thinking is right. Quite fine to me, for God created man in his image, so we are able to understand much of what he has created. But we don’t become like him by this knowledge, for he made it by saying his Word, that we can’t do.
Mathematical logics in real sciences, in philosophy and in faith in God and his Word.
Real analysis is based on a few simple axioms, like the existence of 0 and 1. If we add the imaginary unit I = Ö-1 as an axiom, we get real analysis. Then the knowledge we have in real analysis (RA) is included in the knowledge we have in complex analysis (CA), RA Ì CA. But CA is not included in RA, CA Ë RA. A sentence in CA, c, may imply a sentence in RA, a, c Þ a, without a to imply c. This is how mathematical logic is.
Rene Descartes was a pioneer on working with complex numbers. He believed an invisible, perfect idea existed. If we add it as a new axiom, we get a greater amount of knowledge, let’s say RD_CA. But like we could not come from RA to CA, we can’t come from CA to RC_CA. Like this CA may be added to our faith in God and his Word (GW), so we get GW_CA, we can’t come from CA to GW_CA, but we can come from GW_CA to CA by logical reasoning. This is just how mathematical logic is and we have to acknowledge this to be honest.

If it shall have any impact on the real world, we are dependent on him to come to us, then. And so he has done many times and that became very clear when he sent his only son to the world.

After the fall of sin there came to be something wrong in humans thinking. God was Spirit, but man was soil and should return to soil. So he was not like God after all. Sin divided humans from God. But with one offer Jesus took away the sin once and for all. With one offer he has for ever made those perfect that are being made holy (Heb.9,26-28 & 10,10-14). God is perfect, his Son Jesus is perfect, his work of salvation is fulfilled and perfect, he gives us life and spirit from heaven and it is perfect. This we receive by faith in Jesus, just because of mercy. We get cleaned in Jesus blood and filled by the Holy Spirit, the Spirit reveals God’s Word for us, it reveals Jesus as our saviour and Lord. This gives us good insight, both by heart and mind.
This functions quite well together with the mathematical thinking, I compare it to the philosophy of Descartes and Pascal. I am a man who typically like the mathematical thinking in real sciences. What about those who like real sciences with little mathematics? Biologists don’t need much mathematics and many of them would try to avoid it. This is more typical for women. But Jesus work of salvation is enough both for us and them, it is enough to make us perfect.
I understand it this way, that God creates us in Christ, then he creates us in his image, he creates us as men and women, like in the two creation histories in Genesis1-2. But now Christ is the last Adam, who is from heaven and for us has become a lifegiving spirit.
Greek philosophy started as nature philosophy, then moral and political philosophy took over and poetry of their gods turned into dictatorship.
The first Greek nature philosophers came up with many good ideas of nature, but did not find methods to find out what was right. Moral and political philosophy took over. As a reaction against the democracy in Athen, the soldier and poet Aiskhylos said that Zevs was god over all gods and ruled with an universal moral, so dictatorial that all that happened was his work. So this was “a theory of everything”. But how could one of those gods that sprang out of chaos get so much power as if there were no more chaos?
It was poetry that became the Greeks answer to Israel’s God and about 300 years later Antiokus 4. Epiphanes (175-164 BC) decided that everyone in his Syrian kingdom should worship Zevs and no other god. It is strange that poetry should result in so much dictatorship and pain, there is still a lot of it in this world. Jews were persecuted and got a hard time revolting against it. This was prophesied 3-400 years earlier (Daniel.11 Zechariah 11).
But Israel’s God was not like this. He said what should happen and it happened. Then he looked after that it got to be like he wanted until he concluded that it was good. It shows that there is a matter of chance in it, so it looks like the quantum mechanical uncertainty is uncertainty to God also, still he has full control.
How to know that the Bible’s God is the only god?
God told his people through his prophets that the stars, the moon and the sun were not gods, those gods that did not create heaven and earth were not gods. The gods made of sticks and stone were not god, there was no spirit in them, the didn’t think, see, hear or talk. They did nothing. How could they know he was God then? He talked to them and told them what should happen before it happened. He saved people. He did wonders none other can do.
Jesus came to our world and spoke God’s Word and did God’s work, God did it through him. And now he still does so through his Church. For many decades I have visited Churches where I realize that Jesus talks to me through the speech and through the translation of speech in tongues. In such Churches it also happens that peoples are healed from sickness by prayer. It is not repeatable in the sense that nobody can do like he does. Still this serves as witness and evidence that the true and living God exists and that he rose his Son from the dead, he lives and talks with us and makes wonders among us.
What about the Many Universe Theory and the Many Worlds Theory? It’s interesting as theory, but we don’t have any evidence for it and it seems to be impossible to get. But we have evidence that the true and living God exists, he talks, he creates, he heals from sickness and he saves.
Zevs and climate-policy or Israel’s God and his gospel.
The climate policy seems to jump out of chaos like the ancient Greek gods, even to try to rule to control chaos more like Zevs. The CO2-fee can be compared to the indulgence trade in the catholic Church. At the time of the climate-negotiations in Paris toward the Paris agreement, there was draught disaster in east Africa, the Norwegian human aid-organization “Redd barna” (Save the Children) worked in the area and a female representative of them reported from Ethiopia and said they partly explained it by global warming, so it urgence to get climate regulatory measures.
Traditionally the native africans use rain-dance in their praying to god or the gods for rain. But now it seems like they are encouraged to pray to the governments for rain instead?
But what did the missionaries teach them or what should they at least have thought them? After the fall of sin God said to Adam that the earth should be coursed because of him, thorn and thistle should grow, with sweat in face he should eat his bread until he returned to the soil, for soil he was.
Human’s problems were that sin separated them from God like this. But with one offer for sin, Jesus took away the sin once and for all. God reconciled the world with himself this way. So by faith in Jesus we get the living water for free, without any claim of doing anything for it. The water in Genesis.2 is symbol for this, it gives life to our heart and soul so it will become like a watery garden. The it shall also result in us cultivating the ground to make it fertile to ourselves, like we see was told to the Jews in the Old Testament.
How? Everyone who received Christ he gave right to become children of God. Jesus said it is quite natural that they will get what they need like other natural creatures on earth, so it is for God (Matt.6). It’s just to seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, then they will get it all in addition. As his children we can come to him with all our needs.
Since it is quite natural, real scientific thinking might very well support this. How? A social economist would say there is lot of groundwater, it’s just to drill down and mount pipelines and pumps, there is lot of sunlight, so it’s just to mount sun-cell panels to give power to the pumps. To give water to the people, their crops and livestock.
And anyone knows that the vegetation binds CO2 from the air and give it to the soil so that it becomes more fertile. Quite naturally CO2 is good for the plants and then for the soil, of course it is.
